58 Westgate

Abbeyfield’s Westgate house is quietly situated on the West side of Chichester, at 58 Westgate, a short walk from the historic Cathedral and Market Cross. Opposite the Cathedral are the city’s largest department store, the main Post Office and a large bookshop. East Street, on the far side of the Market Cross, is the main shopping street and contains the major banks and building societies, Marks & Spencer, Boots, etc.   Find 58 Westgate on Map

The house is set well back from the road in a pleasant garden, with a large conservatory leading onto the lawn. There is enough space on the drive for residents or their visitors to park their cars. The house has seven rooms, each with en-suite bathroom, central heating, TV and telephone points. Each room is connected to a central alarm system, and each resident has a pendant or wrist-band for emergency use. Four of the six ground floor rooms provide direct access to the enclosed rear gardens.
